One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ubbe On Fire tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Keztri Hamilton that came steaming ahead. Narkissos Du Bloc galloped way to long and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Keztri Hamilton clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
