The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Melbourne Night Prowler. Vraag ended up behind the leader. Snowy Sound got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Giserixk Nova showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Vraag saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Growing Dribbler sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Comfortable Missile saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Vraag suddenly took over the lead.



Snowy Sound speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Vraag won the race after a spectacular finish.
