One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Piggelin could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Golds Law sprinted to the front. Beretta started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Dolly Hof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Time To Attack couldn't come out from behind the leader, Golds Law.




Rekwest looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Chisholms Second Law gallopped for 50 m.



Sudden Gal litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
