Starlight got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and

Stardust sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of
Spartacus who started to galop and lost 20 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Space Miracle looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Space Miracle didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Space Miracle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
