Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Hoting track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zegdou could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Polished Boy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Zegdou who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Bit Ddiog who started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and El Oued took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop El Oued today. It continued in the lead.



El Oued was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Faas Olympicon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
