The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sous-marin. Rugged Pirate ended up behind the leader. Maximum Rock got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Punching Strategy, Re Dei Jet, Sören Galoppören, Bonjour Lundi, Sudden Fiesta, Rugged Pirate, Maximum Rock, Slow Valley.




Sudden Fiesta sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Sudden Fiesta was still in the lead after 1500m.



Sudden Fiesta looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Bonjour Lundi sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
