The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





King Force could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Moving Lizard suddenly started to galop. Magnus Jakobsson had to struggle to get Moving Lizard to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Pinstripe´s Mega Mee saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Solid Stone started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sliding Steel took the lead after 1000m. King Force didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Sliding Steel was still in the lead after 1500m.




Sliding Steel didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Sliding Steel sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pinstripe´s Mega Mee galop. Pinstripe´s Mega Mee lost 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Sliding Steel. King Force came in second. Moving Lizard became third.
