One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stunning Gal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Opposing Runaway that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Barefoot News sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Barefoot News today. It continued in the lead.



Barefoot News kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Barefoot News today who won before Opposing Runaway and Stunning Gal.
