One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vlucht Afwezig could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tiny Action showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bavaria Larockma sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Crossing Necklace who started to galop and lost 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Flower Wardrobe who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Vlucht Afwezig looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Kvarngärdets Extra couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bavaria Larockma.




Kvarngärdets Extra accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Bavaria Larockma gallopped for 30 m.




Kvarngärdets Extra sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Kvarngärdets Extra sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Ego Hof sprinted over the finishline before Vlucht Afwezig and Kvarngärdets Extra.
