The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Östersund today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Ace took the lead after a very quick start. Drifter suddenly started to galop. Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get Drifter to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Solid Thrasher quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Indrajit took the lead after 1000m. Running Ace didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Running Ace accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Indrajit was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Running Ace galoped for 10 m. Running Ace kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






First Time Flying won the race after a spectacular finish.
