It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Virgo sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Thomas Uhrberg wanted a little to much in the start and Leinster galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Pure Energy started to galop and lost 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Aucunes Limites, Gentleman Puma, Lawmaker, Pure Energy, Diamond Magic, Leinster, Growing Ship, Magic Feeling.




Gentleman Puma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Diamond Magic couldn't come out from behind the leader, Aucunes Limites. Virgo galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
