One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Vieux Guerrier. Fred ended up behind the leader. Comfortable Missile got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Vieux Guerrier was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Comfortable Missile looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fred couldn't come out from behind the leader, Vieux Guerrier.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vieux Guerrier followed by Fred and Wandering Lilac. Lane two Comfortable Missile followed by Mattanten and Rolling Gal.



Vieux Guerrier kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mattanten galop. Mattanten lost 10 m.




Comfortable Missile won. Vieux Guerrier came in second. Wandering Lilac caught third place.
