One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mai Sufficiente could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Powerful Missile galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Black Spot saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Handy Comet took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Handy Comet followed by Tumbling Thor and Mai Sufficiente. Lane two Pinstripe´s Cujo followed by Dawana and Commerciante.



Handy Comet sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Powerful Missile galop. Powerful Missile lost 50 m.




Pinstripe´s Cujo won the race after a spectacular finish.
