It had been raining for several days at Lapua but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jolly Venus tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stampante that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Cypress Hof, Jolly Venus, Wandering Blossom, Punching Force, Stampante, Placide Olympicon, Max Beard, Insane Diva. Insane Diva was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Wandering Blossom took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Venus didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
