It had been raining for several days at Rovaniemi but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Angelien Olympicon tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lonely Princess that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Tranquil Runaway started to galop and lost 50 m.

Sleeping Doll saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Lady Blue took the lead after 1000m. Wysteria didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Fair Gossip looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Fair Gossip didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Helene Fischer C.C. was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Lonely Princess was first on the homestretch followed by Sleeping Doll and Fair Gossip.

driver couldn't keep Moronto Taiden to trotting so they were disqualified.

Lonely Princess didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
