The weather had been good all week and Solänget was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giusto Qui could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Quouky Williams saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Giusto Qui sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Giusto Qui was still in the lead after 1500m.



Giusto Qui looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Quouky Williams sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
