The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Admiral Bandwith. Tarmac ended up behind the leader. Matthieu got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Lennart Forsgren wanted a little to much in the start and Big Momentum galoped for 20 m. Preben Kjaersgaard wanted a little to much in the start and Miami Shooter galoped for 20 m.

Teach Me Love quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Sergeant Strategy started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Matthieu sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Admiral Bandwith suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Big Momentum accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Big Momentum kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Powerful Plan sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
