The sun was shining on Halsua and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Edmond Globetrotter took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Neon Sugar sprinted to the front.

Neon Sugar clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Participant showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Sliding Blast saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Sliding Blast kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Sliding Blast didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
