One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Playing Sunflower was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Impassible Heart started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sonnenschein looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Impassible Heart couldn't come out from behind the leader, Playing Sunflower.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Playing Sunflower today. It continued in the lead.




Playing Sunflower was still in the lead after 2000m.



Playing Sunflower kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sonnenschein made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Playing Sunflower.
