One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Gallant found a gap and took the lead. Ainainen Kukoistus followed before Passion Man. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.




Passion Man quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Giant Gallant started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. French Lover was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Old Ship suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Passion Man followed by Giant Gallant and Sea Hawk. Lane two Moving Thrasher followed by Boa Constrictor and Prestige.



Passion Man kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ahdinko Heilahdella galop. Ahdinko Heilahdella lost 50 m. Giant Gallant galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Moving Thrasher won the race after a spectacular finish.
