One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Courageous Dragon found a gap and took the lead. Confident Universe followed before Useless Correlation. When the startcar left the field Confident Universe started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sly Behemoth, Painkiller, Max Work, Heathcote, Vereinigte Ehre, Useless Resignation, Useless Correlation, Confident Universe.

The leader got disturbed by something and Max Work took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Max Work followed by Sly Behemoth and Confident Universe. Lane two Heathcote followed by Useless Correlation and Vereinigte Ehre. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Useless Resignation gallopped for 30 m. Parkas galloped for 30 m.

Max Work were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Renaud Pujol tried a little too much on the homestretch and Heathcote started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Max Work didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
