The weather had been good all week and Argentan was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Green Curry tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Minette Du Lilas that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Minette Du Lilas started to galop and lost 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Melwood sprinted to the front. Avocat Du Diable started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Sinterklaas sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Useless Resignation was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Prima Orchid accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Minette Du Lilas galloped way to long and was disqualified. Bit Ddiog galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Sinterklaas speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Prima Orchid was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Carlos Lagavulin made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Green Curry.
