The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Rowshambow. Doctor Whooves ended up behind the leader. Confident Devil got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Stretching Angel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Necrophobia sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Doctor Whooves accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Avocat Du Diable gallopped for 50 m. Walking Comet galloped for 10 m. Necrophobia speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Wolfpack galop. Wolfpack lost 10 m. Doctor Whooves sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
