The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jägersro this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Mr Hollywood. Awesome Gold One ended up behind the leader. Airstrike got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Destry Rides Again sprinted to the front.

Mr Hollywood sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Fast Factory suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mr Hollywood today. It continued in the lead. Staro Illinois started to gallop after 1500m and Conrad Lugauer had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Mr Hollywood was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Fast Factory galoped for 30 m. Airstrike speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Powerful Work never caught up with Airstrike who won. Mr Hollywood came third.
