One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Steel Puma, Igor Opal, Loving Breath, Stopping Heroine, Mosh, Netherworld, Lonely Cherry, Viens Véritable. Lonely Cherry started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Steel Puma who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Igor Opal sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Steel Puma looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Igor Opal gallopped for 30 m.



Netherworld suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






No-one could catch Netherworld today who won before Mosh and Steel Puma.
