One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Nova could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Crossing Nugget sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Fast Runner took the lead rather easily.




Red Nova accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Red Nova kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Crossing Nugget won the race after a spectacular finish.
