It had been raining for several days at Örebro but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Skipping Gossip was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Hard Energy galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Starstruck Maid took the lead after 1000m. Skipping Gossip didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Skipping Gossip galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Starstruck Maid was still in the lead after 1500m.




Starstruck Maid kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Starstruck Maid looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Starstruck Maid kept the speed the whole finish and won before Skipping Gossip and Hard Energy.
