The weather had been good all week and Bergsåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Preacher Man was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Holy Cheesus quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Preacher Man took the lead after 1000m. Steel Movement didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Wolly Doll was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Why Sheep was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Preacher Man followed by Steel Movement and Modest Darkness. Lane two Holy Cheesus followed by Wolly Doll and Slippery Beard.




Preacher Man was still in the lead after 2000m.



Preacher Man kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Steel Movement made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Preacher Man.
