The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Acid Thunder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Evil Promise quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Evil Promise was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.



Volstead was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Fella Fel Bwyd galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Evil Promise sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
