The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Serious Impact sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Sly Cube was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Bright Gold quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Lone Power started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Light Sparkle took the lead after 1000m. Serious Impact didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Bright Gold accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Serious Impact speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Serious Impact kept the speed the whole finish and won before Bright Gold and Lone Power.
