One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sly Paladin found a gap and took the lead. Rennend Fort followed before Albert Stubbins Justice. La Donna was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Thomas Uhrberg wanted a little to much in the start and Sly Paladin galoped for 30 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Stopping Crusher sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
