One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sunday Sapphire could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Sophisticated Mambo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Counterfeit Cookie sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Counterfeit Cookie followed by Sunday Sapphire and Playing Fiesta. Lane two Glasers Law followed by Shining Giggle and Sophisticated Mambo.




Glasers Law put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Glasers Law looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Sunday Sapphire galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Glasers Law. Playing Fiesta came in second. Shining Giggle became third.
