The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Lie took the lead after a very quick start. Gyönyörû Történet was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. driver couldn't keep Power Tiger to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Twisting And Turning took the lead rather easily.




Twisting And Turning was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Gyönyörû Történet galoped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Gyönyörû Történet galoped for 50 m. Twisting And Turning sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Per Berg Thomsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Marching On started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Winner of todays race was Twisting And Turning. Show Me Heaven came in second. Beautiful Lie became third.
