One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hoping Blast was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Ugolin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sliding Lieutenant sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sliding Lieutenant followed by Laxviks Mountain Girl From Ravenna and Ugolin. Lane two Old Bandwith followed by Hoping Blast and Adventurous Gladiator. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Adventurous Gladiator gallopped for 50 m.



Sliding Lieutenant kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Sliding Lieutenant today who won before Hoping Blast and Old Bandwith.
