The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Betuloideae could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Stopping Tropic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Stopping Tropic clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Stopping Tropic today. It continued in the lead.



Stopping Tropic kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Betuloideae won the race after a spectacular finish.
