One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Turf King was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Close Map took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Close Map followed by Alcide and . Lane two Turf King followed by and . Alcide started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Close Map looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
