One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Darkness took the lead after a very quick start.

Wolly Rocket took the lead after 1000m. Whatever Lily didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Perfect Darkness accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Wolly Rocket gallopped for 20 m.

Perfect Darkness were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Wolly Rocket made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Whatever Lily.
