The sun was shining on Umåker today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Stretching Closet was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Glorious Orchid sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Glorious Orchid today. It continued in the lead. Glorious Orchid looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Bleu Et Jaune never caught up with Glorious Orchid who won. Stretching Closet came third.
