The weather had been good all week and Östersund was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bright Rocket took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gods Creation sprinted to the front.




Bright Rocket took the lead after 1000m. Amazing Waist didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bright Rocket followed by Vagabond and Gods Creation. Lane two Quick Hero followed by Amazing Waist and Insane Nugget.



Quick Hero speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Bright Rocket, 2 Vagabond, 3 Quick Hero.
