The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solänget today. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. C’est La Vie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fleet Wood that came steaming ahead. Ove A Lindqvist wanted a little to much in the start and Close Tank galoped for 20 m. Eau Du Cologne quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Fleet Wood sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. C’est La Vie looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Connemara suddenly took over the lead. Connemara showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. C’est La Vie suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Close Tank was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Connemara galop. Connemara lost 10 m. Fleet Wood won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
