One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hard Rock tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Commerzbank that came steaming ahead. Thomas Dalborg wanted a little to much in the start and Commerzbank galoped for 20 m. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Puygrenier was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Commerzbank was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Hard Rock looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Commerzbank took the lead. Commerzbank kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. No-one could catch Commerzbank today who won before Hard Rock and Puygrenier. Results
