Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Criminal Tyke Mörbult. Sowing Knockout ended up behind the leader. Calming Lion got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sowing Knockout sprinted to the front. Christopher Lawler Justice started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sowing Knockout followed by Criminal Tyke Mörbult and Siscuriouscerasus. Lane two Calming Lion followed by River Raid and Gold Miracle.




Sowing Knockout was still in the lead after 2000m.



Calming Lion was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Pinstripe´s Fonzie was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Sowing Knockout kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Criminal Tyke Mörbult sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
