The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Virtueel Ruit could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lopende Voort quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Racing Runner started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Mathilde Larockma sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Lopende Voort galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Listening Steel accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Virtueel Ruit started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Mathilde Larockma litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Holger Opal sprinted over the finishline before Aggressive Sniper and Madame Bovary.
