Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lady Of Winning sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Prima Orchid to trotting so they were disqualified.

Scootaloo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Stretching Winter who started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Lucy Deuce Cherry took the lead rather easily. Criminal Cassandra suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Scootaloo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Mad News took the lead.

Mad News sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Scootaloo showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
