The sun was shining on Örebro and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Eloi could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Åke Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Fast Man galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Hard Gambler started to galop and lost 20 m. This is the positions after 500m. Ti Amo, Hard Gambler, Den Lille Havfrue C.C., Jumping Tank, Surfs Up, Old Tiger, Bonjour Lundi, Charle Mang. Old Tiger looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jumping Tank couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ti Amo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ti Amo followed by Bonjour Lundi and Old Tiger. Lane two Jumping Tank followed by Hard Gambler and Eloi. driver couldn't keep Eloi to trotting so they were disqualified. Fast Man was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Jumping Tank speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Old Tiger won. Hard Gambler came in second. Bonjour Lundi caught third place.
