One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Heart could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ticking Lilac sprinted to the front. Bad Dream Baby was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Purple Heart took the lead after 1000m. Ticking Lilac didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Bad Dream Baby looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Bad Dream Baby kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Bad Dream Baby were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Bad Dream Baby kept the speed the whole finish and won before Purple Heart and Ticking Lilac.
