One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tremendous Empire found a gap and took the lead. The Prospector followed before Guard Of Paris.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. The Prospector started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Venire looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Nothings Compare couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tremendous Empire.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Venire galop. Venire lost 20 m.
