One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Directeur Sportif could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Directeur Sportif suddenly started to galop. Magnus Jakobsson had to struggle to get Directeur Sportif to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Quick Blast sprinted to the front.




Quick Blast was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Quick Blast was still in the lead after 1500m.



Quick Blast sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
