The weather had been good all week and Jarlsberg was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Amazing Venus. Pinstripe´s Ester ended up behind the leader. Franky Doyle C.C. got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Franky Doyle C.C. looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pinstripe´s Ester couldn't come out from behind the leader, Amazing Venus.

Amazing Venus didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Pinstripe´s Ester suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Thor Borg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Franky Doyle C.C. started to galopp and lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Pinstripe´s Ester today who won before Amazing Venus and Franky Doyle C.C..
