One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Klondo took the lead after a very quick start. Mad Cookie galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Ghostly Needle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Ghostly Needle clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Ghostly Needle today. It continued in the lead.



Ghostly Needle looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Klondo never caught up with Ghostly Needle who won. Mad Cookie came third.
